स्किल इंडिया मिशन (एसआईएम) के बारे में
15 जुलाई 2015, विश्व युवा कौशल दिवस को शुरू किया गया स्किल इंडिया मिशन विभिन्न योजनाओं के अंतर्गत कौशल, पुनः-कौशल, तथा उन्नत कौशल प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करता है, जो पूरे देश में फैले कौशल विकास केंद्रों और संस्थानों के व्यापक नेटवर्क के माध्यम से संचालित होता है।
फरवरी 2025 में पुनर्गठित ‘स्किल इंडिया कार्यक्रम’ को 2022-23 से 2025-26 तक के लिए अनुमोदित किया गया, जिसमें प्रधानमंत्री कौशल विकास योजना 4.0 (PMKVY 4.0), प्रधानमंत्री राष्ट्रीय अप्रेंटिसशिप प्रोत्साहन योजना (PM-NAPS) और जन शिक्षण संस्थान (JSS) को एक एकीकृत केंद्रीय क्षेत्र योजना में विलय किया गया।
सामाजिक न्याय और अधिकारिता मंत्रालय द्वारा नागरिक अधिकार संरक्षण अधिनियम (पीसीआर अधिनियम) 1955 के कार्यान्वयन पर केंद्र सरकार की 2022 की वार्षिक रिपोर्ट सार्वजनिक की गई है।

कम रिपोर्टिंग: केसों की कम संख्या जागरूकता की कमी, प्रतिशोध का भय, कानून का उपयोग करने में संकोच या एससी/एसटी अधिनियम को प्राथमिकता देने को दर्शा सकती है; यह जरूरी नहीं कि अस्पृश्यता की प्रथाओं में वास्तव में कमी आई हो।
अधिक लंबित मामले और कमजोर सजा दरें: 2022 में पीसीआर अधिनियम के अंतर्गत 1,242 मामले न्यायालयों में लंबित थे। न्यायालयों में लंबित दर 97% से अधिक बनी हुई है, जो धीमी न्यायिक प्रक्रिया को दर्शाती है।
भारत के सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता के बढ़ते दुरुपयोग, विशेष रूप से सोशल मीडिया पर, पर चिंता व्यक्त की और आत्मसंयम व नियमन की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया।

न्यायालय ने दोहराया कि अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता सभ्य समाज की मूलभूत आवश्यकता है और इसे “तुच्छ और मनमाने कारणों” से खराब नहीं किया जा सकता।
सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने स्पष्ट रूप से कहा है कि अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता (अनुच्छेद 19) को जीवन और गरिमा के अधिकार (अनुच्छेद 21) के साथ संतुलित किया जाना चाहिए। यदि टकराव की स्थिति उत्पन्न होती है, तो गरिमा की प्रधानता होगी।

Governor : Appointment and Eligibility
The Governor is the constitutional head of a State and acts as a link between the Union and the State governments.
Article 153 provides that each State shall have a Governor, and the same person can be appointed for more than one State.
The Governor is appointed by the President (Article 155) and holds office during the President’s pleasure, though his tenure is generally five years (Article 156).
Eligibility : To be eligible, one must be an Indian citizen aged 35 or above (Article 157), and cannot be a member of Parliament or a State Legislature, nor hold any other office of profit (Article 158).

The Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 defines dowry as ‘any property or valued security given or agreed to be given, directly or indirectly, to either partner in a marriage, to the other party’s parents, to any other person, is referred to as dowry’.
Dowry-related violence and deaths are symptoms of deep-rooted patriarchy, and remains one of the most persistent forms of gender-based crimes in India.
In many cases, women are subjected to mental and physical abuse, culminating in suicide or murder — often by burning, poisoning, or hanging.
