प्रारंभिक जीवन और शिक्षा: डॉ. भूपेन हज़ारिका, जिन्हें ‘ब्रह्मपुत्र के गायक’ और ‘सुधाकंठ’ (नाइटिंगेल) के नाम से जाना जाता है, का जन्म 8 सितंबर 1926 को असम के सादिया में नीलकंठ और शांतिप्रिया हज़ारिका के घर हुआ था।
