The VNR 2025, prepared under the stewardship of NITI Aayog and was developed through a wide-ranging consultative process involving state and Union Territory governments, civil society organisations, development partners, and the private sector.
The report outlines India’s achievements over the past ten years across a wide spectrum of development indicators.
This VNR marks India’s third submission to the HLPF, reaffirming the country’s sustained commitment to the UN 2030 Agenda for SDGs.

विधेयक के प्रमुख प्रावधान
संगठनों को ‘गैरकानूनी’ घोषित करना: राज्य सरकार बिना किसी सार्वजनिक सूचना या उचित प्रक्रिया सुरक्षा उपायों के उन संगठनों पर प्रतिबंध लगा सकती है जिन्हें वह गैरकानूनी मानती है।
अभिव्यक्ति का अपराधीकरण: धारा 2(f) ऐसे भाषण, हाव-भाव या संकेतों को अपराध घोषित करती है जो “सार्वजनिक व्यवस्था में बाधा डालते हैं या चिंता का कारण बनते हैं।”
राज्यों के वित्त और बजट, बुनियादी ढाँचे एवं शिक्षा से लेकर स्वास्थ्य सेवा तथा स्थानीय रोज़गार पहलों तक, व्यापक आर्थिक लचीलेपन और स्थानीय शासन की प्राथमिकताओं, दोनों को दर्शाते हैं।

परिचय
VNR 2025 के बारे में: नीति आयोग के नेतृत्व में तैयार की गई यह रिपोर्ट राज्य एवं केंद्र शासित प्रदेश सरकारों, नागरिक समाज संगठनों, विकास भागीदारों और निजी क्षेत्र की भागीदारी वाली एक व्यापक परामर्श प्रक्रिया के माध्यम से विकसित की गई है।
यह रिपोर्ट विकास संकेतकों की एक विस्तृत श्रृंखला में विगत दस वर्षों में भारत की उपलब्धियों को रेखांकित करती है।
विश्व में खाद्य सुरक्षा और पोषण की स्थिति (SOFI 2025) रिपोर्ट जारी कर दी गई है।
