Shipbuilding refers to the construction, repair, and maintenance of vessels used for transportation, defense, and trade. 

Shipbuilding is carried out in specialised facilities called shipyards, which are equipped to handle large-scale projects and complex assembly processes.

Asia-Pacific was the largest region in the ship building and repairing market, accounting for 49% or $118.12 billion of the total in 2023.

It was followed by Western Europe, North America and then the other regions.

COLP के लगभग पांच दशकों के इतिहास में यह प्रथम बार है जब यह सम्मेलन भारतीय उपमहाद्वीप में आयोजित किया गया है। 

यह सम्मेलन स्टॉकटन सेंटर फॉर इंटरनेशनल लॉ, यू.एस. नेवल वॉर कॉलेज और गुजरात मेरीटाइम यूनिवर्सिटी द्वारा पृथ्वी विज्ञान मंत्रालय के सहयोग से आयोजित किया गया। 

आयोजक: परंपरागत रूप से यह सम्मेलन यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ वर्जीनिया स्कूल ऑफ लॉ (USA) के सेंटर फॉर ओशन्स लॉ एंड पॉलिसी द्वारा आयोजित किया जाता है। 

उद्देश्य: संयुक्त राष्ट्र समुद्र कानून संधि (UNCLOS), समुद्री सीमाएं, नौवहन की स्वतंत्रता और समुद्री संसाधनों के सतत उपयोग से संबंधित कानूनी एवं नीतिगत मुद्दों पर संवाद को बढ़ावा देना।

एशिया-प्रशांत क्षेत्र 2023 में जहाज निर्माण और मरम्मत बाजार का सबसे बड़ा क्षेत्र था, जिसकी हिस्सेदारी 49% या $118.12 बिलियन थी।

Background

As of 2025, 11 states have passed laws to regulate religious conversion on the ground of public order.

Article 25 of the Constitution provides for the fundamental right to freedom of conscience and free profession, practice and propagation of religion.

About the Vaccine

As per the Russian Federal Medical and Biological Agency (FMBA), the Russian EnteroMix cancer vaccine is now ready for clinical use.

The oncolytic vaccine was developed by the Ministry of Health’s National Medical Research Radiology Centre (NMRRC) in collaboration with the Engelhardt Institute of Molecular Biology under the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The mRNA-based vaccine had successfully passed preclinical trials, demonstrating both safety and high effectiveness.
