15 नवंबर को जनजातीय गौरव दिवस मनाया जाता है, जो भगवान बिरसा मुंडा की जयंती का स्मरण है। भारत सरकार ने 2021 में इस दिन को जनजातीय गौरव दिवस के रूप में घोषित किया।
बिरसा मुंडा
उनका जन्म 1874 में झारखंड के उलिहातु गाँव में हुआ था।
वे एक आध्यात्मिक सुधारक और स्वतंत्रता सेनानी थे।
उन्हें धरती आबा (“पृथ्वी के पिता”) के नाम से जाना जाता है।
उन्होंने उलगुलान या “महान कोलाहल” (1899–1900) (जिसे मुंडा विद्रोह (1895–1900) भी कहा जाता है) का नेतृत्व किया, जो जनजातीय स्वशासन और खुंटकटी (सामुदायिक भूमि अधिकार) की पुनर्स्थापना के लिए एक प्रचंड आंदोलन था।
भारत को एक परिवर्तनकारी बदलाव से गुजरना होगा — ऐसा बदलाव जो उसकी अर्थव्यवस्था के व्यापक विद्युतीकरण पर आधारित हो, ताकि वह 2070 तक अपने महत्वाकांक्षी नेट ज़ीरो लक्ष्य को प्राप्त कर सके।

India is often called the diabetes capital of the world.
According to the ICMR–INDIAB Study, the diabetic population jumped from about 32 million in 2000, to almost 90 million adults in 2024.
Recent reports estimate as many as 1 in 9 Indian adults live with diabetes, hinting at numbers soaring beyond 100 million in the near future.
The burden is deepened by undiagnosed cases and a surge in needless complications.
