  • विगत पाँच वर्षों में भारत में बौद्धिक संपदा (IP) फाइलिंग में 44% की वृद्धि हुई है, जो 2020–21 में 4,77,533 से बढ़कर 2024–25 में 6,89,991 हो गई है।

  • सबसे अधिक वृद्धि भौगोलिक संकेतकों (GI) में 380% देखी गई, इसके बाद डिज़ाइनों में 266%, पेटेंट में 180%, कॉपीराइट में 83%, ट्रेडमार्क में 28%, और सेमीकंडक्टर इंटीग्रेटेड सर्किट लेआउट-डिज़ाइनों (SICLD) में 20% की वृद्धि हुई। 
  • बौद्धिक संपदा को सामान्यतः ‘मन की उपज’ के रूप में परिभाषित किया जाता है।
