तेलंगाना सरकार ने अनुसूचित जातियों को तीन समूहों में वर्गीकृत करने के लिए तेलंगाना अनुसूचित जाति (आरक्षण का युक्तिकरण) अधिनियम 2025 के कार्यान्वयन को अधिसूचित किया है।
परिचय
सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के ऐतिहासिक निर्णय के बाद अनुसूचित जातियों के वर्गीकरण को लागू करने वाला तेलंगाना प्रथम राज्य बन गया है।
निर्णय में अनुसूचित जातियों और अनुसूचित जनजातियों को उप-वर्गीकृत करने की संवैधानिक वैधता को बरकरार रखा गया, ताकि इन समुदायों के सबसे हाशिए पर पड़े समूहों को अलग से कोटा प्रदान किया जा सके।
डिजिटल व्यक्तिगत डेटा संरक्षण (डीपीडीपी) अधिनियम, 2023 के माध्यम से आरटीआई अधिनियम 2005 में हाल ही में किए गए संशोधन, विशेष रूप से धारा 8(1)(j) में किए गए संशोधनों को अनावश्यक और अधिनियम के मूल उद्देश्य के लिए संभावित रूप से हानिकारक माना जा रहा है।
