वर्तमान मामलों का भार

नेशनल जुडिशियल डेटा ग्रिड (NJDG) के अनुसार, भारत के सर्वोच्च न्यायालय में मामलों की लंबितता अभूतपूर्व स्तर पर पहुँच गई है, जहाँ वर्तमान में 88,492 मामले विचाराधीन हैं, जिनमें 69,605 दीवानी मामले और 18,887 आपराधिक मामले शामिल हैं। 

विगत पाँच वर्षों में यह संख्या 35% से अधिक बढ़ी है, जबकि इस दौरान डिजिटलीकरण और संरचनात्मक सुधार किए गए हैं।
