  • भारतीय राष्ट्रीय अंतरिक्ष संवर्धन एवं प्राधिकरण केंद्र (IN-SPACe) ने इसरो द्वारा विकसित पाँच तकनीकों को पाँच भारतीय कंपनियों को हस्तांतरित करने में सहायता की है।

  • इन हस्तांतरणों का उद्देश्य व्यावसायीकरण को बढ़ावा देना, आत्मनिर्भरता को सुदृढ़ करना, आयात को कम करना और ऑटोमोटिव, बायोमेडिकल तथा औद्योगिक विनिर्माण जैसे क्षेत्रों में अंतरिक्ष तकनीकों के व्यापक अनुप्रयोगों को सक्षम बनाना है।

  • नेचर क्लाइमेट चेंज में प्रकाशित एक हालिया अध्ययन से पता चला है कि उष्णकटिबंधीय क्षेत्रों में वनों की कटाई से उत्पन्न गर्मी के कारण 2001 से 2020 के बीच प्रत्येक वर्ष लगभग 28,000 अतिरिक्त गर्मी-संबंधी मृत्यु हुईं।
