CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATION (IGP)

NEXT IAS conducts an exclusive course known as “Interview Guidance” under the guidance of Mr. B. Singh (Ex. IES) CMD, MADE EASY Group & a panel of experts as soon as the result of CSE Mains Examination is declared. NEXT IAS also conducts “Interview Guidance” for Indian Forest Services (IFoS) simultaneously.

Once you have cleared the UPSC CSE Preliminary and the Main Examination, the third & the final stage of Civil Services Examination is the “Personality Test”, also commonly referred to as an Interview. The questions that are asked in the interview are on matters of general interest.

A board of highly competent and unbiased members headed by a Chairman consist of the interview panel so as to assess the personnel suitability of the candidate for a career in public service. The test is intended to judge the mental caliber of a candidate encompassing not only his/her intellectual capabilities but also social traits and his/her interest in current affairs. Some of the qualities which are majorly judged are mental alertness, critical powers of assimilation, clear and logical exposition, balance of judgement, variety and depth of interest, ability for social cohesion & leadership, intellectual and moral integrity.

The interview panel consists of highly experienced & reputed subject matter & psychological experts. The programme emphasizes on inculcating all the necessary qualities that are needed as a Civil Servant. Our panel members help to later out the weaknesses and psychological setbacks of the aspirants. Various dedicated sessions are conducted to ensure the best possible preparation in all aspects of the examination. At the end of sessions, 1-2 Mock Interviews are conducted. We also offer the facility of accessing video coverage of the Mock Interviews so that an aspirant can assess & understand his/her weakness & work on it before the actual interview. ONE TO ONE DAF DISCUSSION

A One-to-One session for guiding an aspirant to generate questions based on the information filled in the Detailed Application Form (DAF) which will be analyzed further to ensure that no area mentioned in DAF is left out. In addition to questions on DAF, some general interview related aspects are discussed as well.

Technical (for engineering optional/engineering background students)

  • Discussion on engineering related aspects from DAF important for CSE interview.
  • Engineering background candidates can discuss questions and aspects related to technical subjects.

General

  • Discussion on strengths, weaknesses, prizes, scholarships, areas of interest, extra-curricular activities, service preferences, gap in study, optional subject selection, etc.

PRACTICE MOCK

One practice mock will be provided to Candidates. It is designed to enable the Candidate -

  • To answer questions on an array of pre-decided probable topics to feature in the personality test.
  • Articulate their opinions in front of experts.
  • Improve through real time feedback.
  • To ensure no important questions are left unpracticed before appearing in the real interview.
MOCK INTERVIEW (2 Nos)
  • 5 member interview panel as per UPSC standards.
  • For Engineering Graduates an expert from respective technical background will be made available for better preparation and experience.
  • Each Mock Interview will be video recorded and recording of the same will be made available to the candidate for self analysis.
ONLINE SUPPORT

To provide opportunity for availing our Comprehensive Interview Program to all the interested candidates, along with offline support at our centre at New Delhi, we are also providing online support for outstation candidates. Now distance will no longer be a constraint. Details are mentioned below.

1 Mock Interview

By retired Civil Servants, personality and HR experts, psychologists and senior subject matter experts.
