Authority of magistrate to detain beyond 24 hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Supreme Court on Re-arrest and Article 22<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>SC reiterating that Article 22(1) safeguards cannot be diluted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It laid down strict c<strong>onditions for re-arrest:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The accused must first receive the grounds of arrest in writing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Police must approach a magistrate with reasons for the proposed re-arrest and explain why the grounds were not supplied initially;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The application must have the endorsement of a superior officer; Natural Gas<\/strong>, <strong>till now, 27.43 crore active domestic LPG consumers<\/strong>, or <strong>89.9% of the total<\/strong>, have completed the authentication process.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consumers who have not completed BAA will be able to book <strong>subsidised refills only after authentication<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>BAA can be completed through:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At the time of delivery, when delivery personnel can carry out the authentication using the mobile application of the concerned oil marketing company (OMC);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the distributor&#8217;s showroom;
