Discussions covered areas such as trade and investment, tourism, technology and innovation, energy cooperation, counter-terrorism and security.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Security Cooperation: <\/strong>Turkiye facilitated the deportation of fugitive narcotics trafficker Salim Dola to India. Both countries are reportedly cooperating on additional extradition requests.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Economic Realities: <\/strong>Turkiye realized that India is a major economic partner with bilateral trade exceeding $10 billion annually.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>India is an important market for Turkish exports such as machinery, marble, and agricultural products.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turkish firms seek opportunities in India&#8217;s infrastructure and construction sectors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tourism and investment ties are economically significant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>India\u2019s Interest in Re-engagement with Turkiye<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Strategic Geographical Location: <\/strong>T\u00fcrkiye acts as a bridge between Europe, West Asia, the Caucasus, and Central Asia.
