India<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Election symbols are governed by the <strong>Election Symbols (Reservation and Allotment) Order, 1968<\/strong>, administered by the <strong>Election Commission of India.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Types of Symbols:\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Reserved Symbols: <\/strong>Exclusively allotted air-conditioner, dustbin, frying pan, grapes, toothbrush, TV remote, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Some symbols are<strong> unavailable in certain states<\/strong> because they are already reserved for by animal welfare groups in the <strong>1990s<\/strong>, the EC stopped allotting new animal-based symbols.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under the Symbols Order, a newly proposed symbol:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>AB PM-JAY<\/strong> is the largest publicly funded health assurance scheme in the world which provides health cover of <strong>Rs. 5 lakhs per family per year <\/strong>for <strong>secondary <\/strong>and <strong>tertiary care<\/strong> hospitalization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Coverage:<\/strong> It covers up to <strong>3 days<\/strong> of pre-hospitalization and <strong>15 days<\/strong> of post &#8211; hospitalization expenses such as <strong>diagnostics and medicines.<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The beneficiary can visit any empanelled public or private hospital in India to avail cashless treatment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There is <strong>no restriction<\/strong> on the <strong>family size, age or
