After the deaths of her husband, father-in-law and son, she assumed the administration of Malwa in 1767.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Major Contributions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>She is remembered for her model of justice, welfare-oriented governance, and cultural preservation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ahilyabai rebuilt important temples such as the<strong> Kashi Vishwanath Temple<\/strong> and <strong>Somnath Temple<\/strong> in the 18th century.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>She promoted <strong>women\u2019s education, widow remarriage, and opposed practices like sati.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>She also worked for the upliftment of tribal communities and lower castes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under her rule, <strong>Maheshwar and Indore became major trade centres<\/strong>, and the famous Maheshwari saree tradition flourished.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Source: PIB<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>PM SVANidhi Scheme Completes Six Years<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Syllabus: GS2\/ Governance, GS3\/ Economy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Context<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>PM Street Vendor&#8217;s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) Scheme, has completed six years of empowering street vendors through affordable collateral-free credit, digital inclusion and social security.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>About PM SVANidhi Scheme<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>PM SVANidhi is a <strong>Central Sector Scheme <\/strong>launched on <strong>1 June 2020<\/strong> to provide affordable working capital <strong>loans to street vendors <\/strong>affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Implementing Agencies:<\/strong> Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) &amp;
