This deep connection with the masses earned him the honorific <strong>\u201cMama\u201d (Uncle)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Martyrdom:<\/strong> On <strong>December 4, 1889<\/strong>, the British executed Tantya Bhil by hanging.
