Non-farm rural enterprises help absorb surplus labour.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Employment and Income Generation:<\/strong> MSMEs contribute 30% of India\u2019s GDP and 45% of exports. Rural enterprises expand MSME base beyond urban centres.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Women-Led Development:<\/strong> SHG-based enterprises improve female labour force participation, which remains around 25%.
