style=\"font-family:'Book Antiqua',serif\"><span style=\"color:#000000\">The draft includes plans for setting up the <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"font-family:'Book Antiqua',serif\"><span style=\"color:#000000\"><strong>India Data Management Office (IDMO) <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"font-family:'Book Antiqua',serif\"><span style=\"color:#000000\">on the lines of the US Federal Data Management Office.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type:square\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"font-family:'Book Antiqua',serif\"><span style=\"color:#000000\">IDMO will be set up under <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"font-family:'Book Antiqua',serif\"><span style=\"color:#000000\"><strong>Digital India Corporation<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"font-family:'Book Antiqua',serif\"><span style=\"color:#000000\"> for <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"font-family:'Book style=\"font-family:'Book Antiqua',serif\"><span style=\"color:#000000\">Under fire, the government later rescinded the policy and unveiled the new framework in May this year under the new name, the metadata collected by ride-hailing apps, telecom companies, electricity distribution companies among others have been put under the community non-personal data Antiqua',serif\"><span style=\"color:#000000\">The concerns are raised regarding the data centralisation aspect of the NDGFP when the world was moving towards decentralised frameworks like style=\"font-family:'Book Antiqua',serif\"><span style=\"color:#000000\"> is essential not only because currently there is no legal measure to protect non-personal data in the country, but also to streamline government data sharing which faces several bottlenecks today.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type:disc\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"font-family:'Book Antiqua',serif\"><span style=\"color:#000000\">The NDGFP demonstrates the Indian government&#8217;s recognition of the immense value that can be unlocked through harnessing
