This is the supermoon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Culturally, supermoons have long captured human imagination, inspiring folklore and spiritual observances across civilisations.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The term \u201csupermoon\u201d was first used by astrologer<strong> Richard Nolle<\/strong> in the 1970s and is now common in astronomy and the media.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Do you know?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Supermoons also influence the <strong>tides<\/strong>, creating perigean spring tides.
