Importance<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Language Coverage and Inclusivity: <\/strong>Currently, BharatGen models <strong>support 9 Indian languages<\/strong>, and <strong>aims to cover all 22 scheduled Indian languages <\/strong>by<strong> June 2026.<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It has already launched <strong>Param-1, a bilingual LLM<\/strong> trained on 5 trillion tokens in <strong>English and Hindi.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Real-World Impact: <\/strong>BharatGen has already piloted applications in <strong>agriculture, governance<\/strong>, and <strong>defence<\/strong>, and these applications <strong>aim to be scaled across all states and districts<\/strong>, transforming public service delivery nationwide, once fully deployed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Redefining Digital Sovereignty Through AI:<\/strong><strong> <\/strong>BharatGen<strong> seeks to redefine digital sovereignty through AI, <\/strong>much like the<strong> original Manhattan Project<\/strong> that redefined global power dynamics <strong>through nuclear science<\/strong>.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>BharatGen is <strong>not just about building models <\/strong>\u2014 it\u2019s about building <strong>infrastructure, policy, and public-good ecosystems<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Supporting Digital Public Infrastructure: <\/strong>BharatGen can be intelligence by participation like Aadhaar was identity by participation.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It needs to evolve into a <strong>stack<\/strong>: APIs, developer toolkits, open frameworks, and deployment systems that seed innovation across state universities, startups, and grassroots hubs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Related Concerns &amp;
