Private schools must reserve<strong> 25% seats<\/strong> at entry level for children from weaker sections, free of charge.<br>2. <strong>Section 7<\/strong> assigns shared funding responsibility to both <strong>Centre and States<\/strong>.<br><strong>The Dispute<\/strong><br>1. The <strong>Centre argued<\/strong> in the High Court that fund disbursement issues under <em>Samagra Shiksha<\/em> arose due to Tamil Nadu\u2019s refusal to implement <strong>National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020)<\/strong>.<br>2. <strong>Tamil Nadu<\/strong> opposed NEP\u2019s <strong>three-language policy<\/strong>, viewing its Hindi emphasis as a threat to <strong>regional linguistic diversity<\/strong>.<br>3. The <strong>Madras HC, however, directed<\/strong> the State to bear the entire financial responsibility for the 2025-2026 academic year.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3
