His birth anniversary is now observed as <strong>National Unity Day or Rashtriya Ekta Diwas.<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>He had accomplished the task of <strong>integrating 565 Princely States<\/strong> into the Union of India within a remarkably short span of time.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vallabhbhai Patel is also known as the<strong> Iron Man of India.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Civil Services Day<\/strong> is observed on<strong> 21st April every year<\/strong> to commemorate the day in<strong> 1947 when Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel addressed the first batch<\/strong> of civil servants at the Metcalfe House, New Delhi.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He was bestowed with the title of <strong>\u2018Sardar\u2019 <\/strong>after the success
