They were referred to as the<strong> &#8220;Lal-Bal-Pal&#8221;.<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The trio also mobilized Indians against the <strong>Bengal partition<\/strong> and proposed the <strong>Swadeshi movement<\/strong> and boycott of foreign goods.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tilak was arrested by the British on the charges of<strong> sedition in 1908<\/strong> and sentenced to <strong>six years of imprisonment in Mandalay (Burma)<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He founded the Home Rule League in <strong>April 1916 at Belagavi,<\/strong> aiming to increase political awareness and mobilize support for self-rule.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In<strong> 1916,<\/strong> he concluded the<strong> Lucknow Pact <\/strong>with Mohammed Ali Jinnah, which provided for
