Pulmonary Thromboembolism (PTE) and COVID-19-related thrombosis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is Blood Clotting (Haemostasis)?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>About:<\/strong> It is a natural physiological mechanism in which <strong>platelets and proteins in the blood work together to form clots<\/strong> that stop bleeding when a blood vessel is injured.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This process is initiated and regulated by chemical signals or physiological agonists such as <strong>collagen and thrombin<\/strong>, which activate platelets and initiate a complex series of protein interactions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Concern: <\/strong>Controlled clotting is essential, but
