Assam.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>About<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The species is named after <strong>Arya Vidyapeeth College, <\/strong>a reputed institution in Guwahati.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It was initially misidentified as <strong>Leptobrachium smithi in 2004.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Leptobrachium genus:<\/strong> It includes 38 known species.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>These frogs are stocky with broad heads, and distinctively coloured eyes and short limbs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Found
