World Quantum Day was first celebrated in <strong>2021<\/strong> and was originally started as a decentralised initiative by scientists around the world.<br>2. The <strong>date &#8216;4.14&#8217;<\/strong> (April 14) was chosen as a reference to 4.14, which is the rounded first digits of Planck&#8217;s constant<strong>\u2014 4.13567\u00d710-15 eV\u00b7s.<\/strong><br>&#8211; The year 2025 has been designated as the <strong>International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQST) by the United Nations.<\/strong><br>1. It commemorates a century since the <strong>foundational developments of quantum mechanics.\u00a0<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Critical Infrastructure<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It refers to the<strong> systems, facilities and assets<\/strong> that are<strong> vital for the functioning of society and the economy.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>These infrastructures are<strong> considered essential <\/strong>because<strong> their disruption would impact public safety, security and health or economic stability.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Critical infrastructure includes both<strong> physical and virtual components<\/strong> that are interconnected and interdependent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Most countries and governing bodies <strong>maintain rules around how critical infrastructure must be managed.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img data-dominant-color=\"b9c6ca\" data-has-transparency=\"false\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"830\" height=\"585\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-images.nextias.com\/cdn-cgi\/image\/format=auto\/ca\/uploads\/2025\/04\/critical-infrastructure.png\" alt=\"critical infrastructure\" class=\"not-transparent wp-image-41236\" style=\"--dominant-color: #b9c6ca; innovative ecosystem in Quantum Technology (QT).\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This will accelerate QT led economic growth, nurture the ecosystem in the country and make India one of the leading nations in the development of <strong>Quantum Technologies &amp;
