<\/strong>between<strong> India and the European Economic Community (EEC),<\/strong> the precursor to the European Union<strong>;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1994:<\/strong>\u00a0 Signing of the India-EU Cooperation Agreement;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2004:<\/strong> <strong>Strategic Partnership<\/strong>, a shift towards deeper collaboration in trade, security, and global governance.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2020: \u2018India-EU Strategic Partnership: A Roadmap to 2025\u2019,<\/strong> outlining ambitious goals for cooperation in various sectors, including <strong><em>digital innovation, climate action, multilateralism, and global peace.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Economic Cooperation:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Trade: <\/strong>The EU is one of <strong>India&#8217;s largest trading partners<\/strong>, accounting for <strong>nearly 11% of India\u2019s total trade<\/strong>, and the USA (10.8%) and China (10.5%).\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>As of 2023, bilateral trade between India and the EU reached approximately \u20ac120 billion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The EU is the <strong>second-largest destination for Indian exports<\/strong> (17.5% of the total) after the USA (17.6%), while China only ranks fourth (3.7%).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Investment and Business Ties: <\/strong>The EU is one of the largest foreign investors in India, with cumulative FDI inflows of over $100 billion in
