India<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Financial Inclusion<\/strong> is broadly defined as both access to and usage of appropriate, affordable, and accessible financial services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The JAM Trinity has been a cornerstone of<strong> India&#8217;s digital revolution,<\/strong> transforming the landscape of <strong>governance and financial inclusion.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It was launched as part of the government&#8217;s <strong>broader vision for a Digital India,<\/strong> and has set new benchmarks globally in leveraging technology for public service delivery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Significance and Impact of JAM Trinity<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY): <\/strong>It was launched in 2014 with the goal of providing every household in India with access to banking services.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>There are <strong>over 54 crore Jan Dhan accounts<\/strong>, with a total deposit balance of<strong> approximately \u20b92.39 lakh crore.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It has been particularly successful in <strong>rural, semi-urban areas, and among women<\/strong>, with around 66% of accounts coming from these regions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mudra Loans<\/strong> by <strong><em>providing collateral-free, affordable loans to small businesses and entrepreneurs<\/em><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Aadhaar: <\/strong>It is the <strong>world&#8217;s largest biometric ID system<\/strong>, and has played a crucial role in ensuring that government benefits reach the intended beneficiaries.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>By providing a unique identification number to every resident, Aadhaar has streamlined the process of <strong>Direct Benefit Transfers (DBT),<\/strong> eliminating intermediaries and reducing leakages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It facilitated the <strong>transfer of \u20b933 trillion across 312 government programs,<\/strong> ensuring that government benefits reach the intended recipients without any middlemen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mobile Connectivity: <\/strong>It has enabled seamless access to government services and financial transactions, making it easier for citizens to engage with the digital ecosystem.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In FY 2023-24, <strong>Unified Payments Interface (UPI)<\/strong> transactions reached \u20b9200 lakh crore, a 138% increase from 2017-18.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>More than <strong>40% of the global real-time payment transactions<\/strong> are happening in India.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Social Security Schemes<\/strong> that include life insurance, accident insurance, and pension schemes, reaching over 50 crore people.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ayushman Bharat, <\/strong>the world&#8217;s largest health scheme, has been made possible through the JAM Trinity, providing
