conflict.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>About Current Ceasefire Proposal<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The proposal follows <strong>Resolution 1701<\/strong> and calls for a cessation of hostilities within 60 days.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hezbollah fighters will retreat 40 kilometers away from the Israel-Lebanon border.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Israeli forces are expected to withdraw from Lebanese territory occupied in October 2023.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lebanon will supervise Hezbollah\u2019s movements south of the along the <strong>UN-demarcated Blue Line<\/strong> between Israel and Lebanon had increased since October 2023, following Israel&#8217;s offensive in Security Council in 2006<\/strong>, calling for a permanent ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah, and the creation of a buffer zone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It sought the full withdrawal of Israeli forces from southern Lebanon and the disarmament of Hezbollah.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) peacekeepers were authorized to monitor the situation, and the resolution aimed for a class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Indian Chemical Council (ICC)<\/strong> has won the <strong>2024 Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW)<\/strong> The Hague Award.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This is the <strong>first time the award<\/strong> has been given to a chemical industry body.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>About<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In 2013, <strong>OPCW was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize<\/strong> for its extensive efforts to eliminate chemical weapons.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To preserve the legacy of this achievement, the OPCW established the \u2018OPCW-The Hague Award\u2019 in collaboration with the Municipality of The Hague in 2014.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Award<strong> recognizes individuals and organizations <\/strong>that play a significant role in advancing the goals of the Chemical Weapons Convention.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It came into force in <strong>1997<\/strong>, and presently has <strong>193 States Parties.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Its <strong>Secretariat in The Hague<\/strong>, is the implementing body.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The CWC promotes <strong>international cooperation<\/strong> in the field of chemical weapons, including research and development of peaceful uses of chemistry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>India is an original signatory to the Convention.\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>National Authority Chemical Weapons Convention (NACWC) <\/strong>is the national authority responsible for implementing the Convention in India.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Indian Chemical Council (ICC)\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul
