Arabia.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Actions in the Jeddah Commitments<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Establish an Independent Panel for<strong> Evidence on Action Against AMR by 2025.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop operational <strong>national AMR coordination mechanisms<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote global data sharing through platforms like GLASS AMR\/AMC, ANIMUSE, and INFARM.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Adhere to Codex Alimentarius Commission<\/strong> guidelines for responsible antimicrobial use.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Launch the One Health AMR<\/strong> Learning Hub for sharing best practices and building multisectoral capacities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Create a Regional Antimicrobial Access<\/strong> and Logistics Hub to ensure sustainable procurement and access to effective antimicrobials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Increase investmen<\/strong>t in research, innovation, and sustainable manufacturing of antimicrobials and diagnostics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>India\u2019s Contributions<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>India highlighted the need for strengthening detection, surveillance, sustainable financing, and governance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>India Supported the AMR Multi-Partner Trust Fund and the Independent Panel on Evidence for Action.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>India Stressed addressing barriers to affordable access to antimicrobials, diagnostics, and vaccines in low- and middle-income countries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Other suggestions\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>There is an urge to\u00a0 conserve critically important antimicrobials by reducing reliance on them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There is a need to promote sustainable food production and livestock practices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There is a need to build food systems and improve water systems to reduce dependency on antimicrobials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There is a need to minimize waste and environmental contamination by antimicrobials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Future outlook<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Jeddah meeting concluded with a call on all Member States to commit to their pledges and work towards achieving the goals set out in the UN General Assembly Political Declaration on Antimicrobial Resistance by 2030.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The next Ministerial Summit to take
