This action, along with a poster explaining Saunders&#8217; murder, led to Bhagat Singh\u2019s arrest.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lahore Conspiracy Case and Execution<\/strong>: On 23rd March 1931, Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev were hanged after being sentenced to death in the Lahore Conspiracy Case, following a trial where they were denied the right to appeal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Post-Execution<\/strong>: After his execution, Bhagat Singh\u2019s body was secretly cremated by the British at Husainiwala, but his comrades retrieved his remains and held a procession in Lahore.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Title of Shahid-e-Azam<\/strong>: Bhagat Singh is honored with the title &#8220;Shahid-e-Azam,&#8221; meaning the greatest of martyrs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Martyrdom and Legacy<\/strong>: Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev embraced death without fear, chanting \u201cInquilab Zindabad\u201d before being hanged.
