Parasurama, but historians dispute this claim<strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It was used by early inhabitants for hunting, and Kalaripayattu evolved into a sophisticated system of combat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cultural Significance:<\/strong> Chroniclers and poets have consistently praised its complex techniques, fluid movements, and the flexibility of its practitioners.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Kalaripayattu was taught in villages across Kerala, with training centers (kalaris) commonly located near Devi temples.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Traditionally, mastery in Kalaripayattu was linked to masculinity, with those unable to fight considered weak.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Women also practiced Kalaripayattu and could class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Prime Minister launched the <strong>\u2018Acharya Chanakya Skill Development \u2019 scheme <\/strong>and <strong>\u2018Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Women Startup Scheme\u2019 of Maharashtra Government.<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Punyashlok Ahilyadevi scheme will provide <strong>early-stage support to women-led startups in class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>After an approval from the Union Cabinet, India has formally joined the International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA), by signing and ratification of the Framework Agreement of IBCA.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The alliance was conceived as a multi-country, multi-agency coalition of <strong>96<\/strong> big cat range countries and others to establish a common platform for conservation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Objective:<\/strong> Focus of the Alliance is to conserve<strong> seven big cats<\/strong> of the world which includes Tiger, Lion, Leopard, Snow Leopard, Puma, Jaguar and Cheetah.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>In India<\/strong> out of the seven big cats<strong> only five <\/strong>\u2014 tiger, lion, leopard, snow leopard and cheetah \u2014 are found.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Funding:<\/strong> The government also approved a one-time budgetary support of <strong>\u20b9150 crore<\/strong> for a period of five years from Blindsight?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Blindsight is a <strong>brain-computer interface (BCI) device<\/strong>, or a chip, surgically implanted in the brain, that will enable those who are blind to see.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It will only work for those who have suffered damage to their <strong>optic nerve,<\/strong> but not the<strong> visual cortex <\/strong>of the brain which processes imagery and input from the eyes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The device will enable transmission of signals by bypassing the optic nerve and directly stimulating the visual cortex of
