lower rates in West Bengal and Bihar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Tamil Nadu account for nearly half of all traffic fatalities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img data-dominant-color=\"d9dfe3\" data-has-transparency=\"false\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"974\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-images.nextias.com\/cdn-cgi\/image\/format=auto\/ca\/uploads\/2024\/09\/safety-first-974x1024.webp\" alt=\"safety first\" class=\"not-transparent wp-image-29254\" style=\"--dominant-color: #d9dfe3;
