However, unlike a traditional DPI manufacturer, Citizen Stack plays a regulatory role. Backed by the <strong>Government of India<\/strong>, it serves as an <strong>auditor<\/strong>, ensuring that digital infrastructure meets the highest standards of integrity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Citizen Stack\u2019s holistic approach to digital infrastructure integrates technology with societal needs. It emphasizes not only technical capability but also principles of <strong>privacy<\/strong>, <strong>interoperability<\/strong>, <strong>inclusivity<\/strong>, and <strong>security<\/strong>, ensuring DPIs are reliable and beneficial for citizens.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Challenges Pertains<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>While <strong>Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI)<\/strong> has the potential to bring about transformative change in financial inclusion, governance, and citizen empowerment, achieving <strong>good DPI<\/strong>\u2014that adheres to the highest standards of security, inclusivity, and privacy\u2014faces several challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Data Privacy and Security Risks:<\/strong> A key concern in any digital infrastructure is the risk of <strong>data breaches<\/strong>, <strong>hacking<\/strong>, and <strong>unauthorized access<\/strong> to sensitive personal information. DPIs that handle vast amounts of citizen data, such as identity or financial data, are attractive targets for cyber-attacks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Digital Divide and Inclusivity: <\/strong>The success of a DPI is heavily dependent on <strong>internet access<\/strong> and <strong>digital literacy<\/strong>. In countries or regions especially India with large populations lacking the skills to use digital services, DPIs risk <strong>excluding<\/strong> the very populations they are designed to help.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Interoperability Issues: Interoperability<\/strong> is essential to prevent citizens and businesses from being locked into proprietary platforms or monopolies.
