{"id":17241,"date":"2023-09-16T21:42:29","date_gmt":"2023-09-16T16:12:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nextias.com\/current_affairs\/?p=17241"},"modified":"2023-09-16T21:42:32","modified_gmt":"2023-09-16T16:12:32","slug":"yashobhoomi-16-09-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nextias.com\/ca\/current-affairs\/16-09-2023\/yashobhoomi-16-09-2023","title":{"rendered":"Yashobhoomi"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Syllabus:GS3\/ Infrastructure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">News<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>PM Modi will inaugurate a state-of-the-art convention center named YashoBhoomi under the first phase of India International Convention and Expo Centre in Delhi.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">About<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The convention center is Built across more than <strong>73,000 sq m of area<\/strong> and boasts of having one of the world\u2019s largest<strong> MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions)<\/strong> facilities and the largest LED media facade in the country.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Architecture:<\/strong>The Convention Center Comprises 15 convention rooms including the Main auditorium, the Grand ballroom and 13 meeting rooms with a total capacity of holding 11,000 delegates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cost: <\/strong>Yashobhoomi\u2019, is developed at a cost of around<strong>&nbsp; Rs. 5400 crore<\/strong>. It is the second convention center with world class infrastructure for exhibitions and conferences, after the <strong>Bharat Mandapam<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Material used: <\/strong>Consisting of materials and objects inspired from Indian culture, the center incorporates <strong>terrazzo floors<\/strong> and<strong> brass inlay<\/strong> representing rangolis patterns.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Commitment to sustainability:<\/strong> Yashobhoomi is equipped with a state-of-the-art wastewater treatment system with 100% wastewater reuse and provisions of rainwater harvesting.
