    • It will replace the existing business responsibility report that was earlier released in the business sector. Now the emphasis should be on <\/span><\/span><\/span>Sustainable reporting<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Sustainable Reporting is the disclosure and communication of <\/span><\/span><\/span>environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>. It also includes the company\u2019s progress towards ESG goals.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Objective:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span> The BRSR report will encourage businesses to go beyond regulatory financial compliance. It will make businesses report on their social and environmental impacts.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • As part of the annual BRSR report, companies will need to provide an overview of their ESG.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Those companies whose shares are traded on an official <\/span><\/span><\/span>stock exchange<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n
