    • The<\/span><\/span><\/span> Raghuram Rajan Committee (2008)<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span> on financial sector reforms first proposed the creation of FSDC.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Composition of FSDC<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n

        • Chairperson<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>: The Union Finance Minister of India.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      What is the Char Dham Project?<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

      • Char Dham National Highway (NH) project<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span> comprises improvement as well as the development of 889 km length of national highways and was launched by the <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      • It will <\/span><\/span><\/span>connect Badrinath Dham, Kedarnath Dham, Gangotri, Yamunotri<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>, and part of the route leading to Kailash Mansarovar yatra.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Environmentalists had pointed out that the<\/span><\/span><\/span> unregulated cutting of tries and scooping up land <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>at the base of the hills is irreversibly damaging the ecosystem.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
