Tribal Health Collaborative \u2018Anamaya\u2019<\/h3>\n<\/td>\n

  • It is a multi-stakeholder initiative<\/strong> launched by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare<\/strong> and the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • It will converge various government efforts <\/strong>to enhance the health and nutrition status of the tribal<\/strong> communities.<\/li>\n
  • It envisions <\/strong>to build a sustainable, high-performing health ecosystem to improve the health of tribal populations and will play a crucial role in achieving the ultimate goal of ‘Health for All<\/strong>‘.<\/li>\n
  • The Ministry will undertake several activities such as:<\/strong>\n
      \n
    • Setting up of the National Council on Tribal Health<\/strong> to drive policy initiatives in tribal health.<\/li>\n
    • Establishment of a Health Cell<\/strong> to closely monitor healthcare delivery in the tribal areas, devising mechanisms to implement the Tribal Health Action Plan<\/strong>, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Tribal population still lacks<\/strong> access to health facilities and health care providers due to cultural and language differences, poor treatment-seeking behaviour, shortage of human resources, difficult terrain, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Lab On Wheel<\/h3>\n<\/td>\n

  • It is a customised bus<\/strong> with computers, televisions, 3D and normal printers, cameras, laptop, etc. It is Wi-Fi enabled, with 100% power back up and is fully air-conditioned.<\/li>\n
  • It is part of Delhi Technological University\u2019s<\/strong> (DTU) \u2018Education Reaches You<\/strong>\u2019 scheme.<\/li>\n
  • Students of DTU will travel in it across Delhi to teach government school students<\/strong> and underprivileged children<\/strong>.<\/li>\n

  • China is turning its legal tender into computer code<\/strong> as digital currency<\/strong>, which will be regulated by its central bank, the People\u2019s Bank of China<\/strong> (PBOC).<\/li>\n
  • It is designed to replace cash in circulation<\/strong> and not money deposited for long-term in bank accounts.<\/li>\n
  • It will negate the anonymity for the user<\/strong> and will be a legal tender.<\/li>\n
  • Unlike cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, the cyber yuan will not use blockchain<\/strong>, distributed ledger technology<\/strong> which allows transactions to be validated without the need for banks.<\/li>\n

Clean Ganga Fund<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

  • It was formed in 2014 for cleaning up of the Ganga,<\/strong> setting up waste<\/strong> treatment plants <\/strong>and conservation<\/strong> of biotic diversity<\/strong> of the river.<\/li>\n
  • It began as an initiative to harness the enthusiasm of people<\/strong> for Ganga<\/strong> and to bring them closer <\/strong>to the Ganga <\/strong>and inculcate a sense of ownership.<\/strong><\/li>\n

          • It is implemented by the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG)<\/strong>, and State Programme Management Groups in the states.\n

            • \u00a0NMCG is the implementation wing of the National Ganga Council established in 2016 which replaced the National Ganga River Basin Authority (NRGBA).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
            • It works under the Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

  • He was born in 1621<\/strong> in the holy city of Amritsar<\/strong> in a house known as Guru ke Mahal.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • He was the fifth and the youngest son<\/strong> of Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji and Mata Nanki Ji.<\/strong> His childhood name was Tyag Mal. <\/strong><\/li>\n
  • He was the ninth Sikh Guru.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • He had resisted forced conversions of non-Muslims<\/strong> to Islam during Aurangzeb’s rule<\/strong>\n
