width: 128.25pt;\">\n<h3>Hamja Folk Dance<\/h3>\n<\/td>\n<td style=\"background-color: #efefef; width: 339.75pt;\">\n<ul>\n<li>It is a<strong> traditional folk dance<\/strong> by the <strong>Rabha tribe<\/strong> of <strong>Assam<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The Rabhas have an<strong> agrarian culture<\/strong> and in <strong>shifting cultivation<\/strong> they work together sharing a common song and music.<\/li>\n<li>It helps them to finish the work easily, hence in this folk dance, they take <strong>agricultural implements<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rabha Tribe<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>It is a<strong> prominent tribe in Assam<\/strong> and is <strong>recognized as Scheduled Tribe<\/strong> (ST) by Indian Constitution.<\/li>\n<li>It is an<strong> indigenous Tibeto-Burman community<\/strong> of Nepal, Bhutan, Thailand, Myanmar and Bangladesh.<\/li>\n<li>In India, it is present in <strong>Assam, Meghalaya and West Bengal<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Language:<\/strong> Rabha (Tibeto-Burman language) and Assamese.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Occupation:<\/strong> Agriculture and day-labourers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Festival: <\/strong>The <strong>Baikho <\/strong>is the principal deity associated with the crops and is <strong>worshipped only once in a year<\/strong> in April\/May.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin-left: 50px; width: 128.25pt;\">\n<h2>First Farm-Based Solar Power Plant<\/h2>\n<\/td>\n<td style=\"background-color: #cfe2f3; width: 339.75pt;\">\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>first farm-based solar power plan<\/strong>t under the Prime Minister\u2019s<strong> Kisan Urja Suraksha Evum Utthan Mahabhiyan (KUSUM)<\/strong> scheme has come up in Jaipur with a provision for the production of <strong>17 lakh units<\/strong> of <strong>electricity every year<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>PM-KUSUM scheme <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has launched this scheme for farmers for installation of <strong>solar pumps<\/strong> and <strong>grid-connected solar and other renewable power plants<\/strong> in the country.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>It is aimed at <strong>ensuring energy security<\/strong> for farmers in India, along with <strong>honouring India\u2019s commitment<\/strong> to <strong>increase the share of installed capacity of electric power <\/strong>from <strong>non-fossil-fuel <\/strong>sources to<strong> 40%<\/strong> by <strong>2030 <\/strong>as part of Intended<strong> Nationally Determined Contributions (INDCs).<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Significance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The scheme will open a stable and continuous source of income to the rural landowners by utilisation of their <strong>dry\/uncultivable land.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\u00a0It would also help increase clean green energy and generate employment in rural areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"background-color: #cfe2f3;
