Promoting Innovations in Individuals, Startups and MSMEs (<strong>DSIR-PRISM<\/strong>) at IIT Delhi.<\/li>\n<li>PRISM is an initiative of the <strong>Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR)<\/strong> that aimed at transforming an individual innovator into a successful technopreneur by promoting, supporting, and funding implementable and commercially viable innovations created for the society.<\/li>\n<li>Under PRISM, an innovator of the Indian nationality is <strong>provided technical, financial and strategic assistance<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>It is implemented across the various sectors from <strong>energy to healthcare to waste management <\/strong>etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"background-color:#efefef; width:113.25pt\">\n<h3>Undersea Internet Cables<\/h3>\n<\/td>\n<td style=\"background-color:#cfe2f3; width:354.75pt\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Facebook and Google <\/strong>are planning two undersea internet cables named <strong>\u201cEcho and Bifrost\u201d<\/strong> to connect the US to Singapore and Indonesia.\n<ul>\n<li>Echo will run from Eureka, California to Singapore, with a stop-over in Guam, and thereto in Indonesia.<\/li>\n<li>Google is only investing in Echo, Facebook is investing in both cables.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Need<\/strong>: The current COVID-19 pandemic across the globe has increased the need for reliable Internet access.\n<ul>\n<li>And, this will provide vital new connections between the<strong> Asia-Pacific region<\/strong> and <strong>North America<\/strong> and increase the overall transpacific capacity by 70 per cent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"background-color:#cfe2f3; Entrepreneurship),<\/strong> an initiative to <strong>promote and support science-based deep-tech startups &#038; ventures across India.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The first cohort of the program is open to <strong>technology developers<\/strong> (early-stage deep tech start-ups, and scientists\/ engineers\/ clinicians) with <strong>strong science-based deep tech business ideas.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\u00a0The program is also open to <strong>CEOs and Senior incubation managers<\/strong> of <strong>AIM Funded Atal Incubation Centers<\/strong> that are <strong>supporting deep tech entrepreneurs.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Candidates selected for the program will get access to <strong>in-depth learning<\/strong> via a <strong>comprehensive lecture series<\/strong>, <strong>live team projects, exercises<\/strong>, and <strong>project-specific mentoring.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>They will also have access to a <strong>deep tech startup playbook<\/strong>, <strong>curated video library, and plenty<\/strong> of <strong>peer-to-peer<\/strong> learning opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The AIM-PRIME program is aimed at <strong>promoting science-based,<\/strong> <strong>deep<\/strong> <strong>technology <\/strong>ideas to market through <strong>training and guidance<\/strong> over a period of <strong>12 months<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"background-color:#cfe2f3;
