width:119.25pt\">\n<h2>Champion Services Sector Scheme<\/h2>\n<\/td>\n<td style=\"background-color:#efefef; width:348.75pt\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Champion Services Sectors<\/strong> refers to the <strong>12 identified sectors<\/strong> where the Government wants to <strong>give focused attention<\/strong> to <strong>promoting their<\/strong> <strong>development<\/strong> and <strong>realizing their potential. <\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>These include <strong>Information Technology &#038; Information Technology enabled Services (IT &#038; ITeS), Tourism and Hospitality Services, Medical Value Travel, Transport<\/strong> and <strong>Logistics Services, Accounting<\/strong> and <strong>Finance Services, Audio Visual Services, Legal Services, Communication Services, Construction and Related Engineering Services, Environmental Services, Financial Services and Education Services<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The respective line <strong>Ministries\/Departments<\/strong> finalizes the <strong>Action Plans and the implementation<\/strong> timelines along with a <strong>monitoring mechanism<\/strong> to <strong>monitor implementation under the overall guidance of the Committee of Secretaries (CoS) <\/strong>under Cabinet Secretary.<\/li>\n<li>The idea was launched and accepted in February 2018.<\/li>\n<li>A dedicated fund of Rs. 5000 crores have been proposed to be established to <strong>support initiatives<\/strong> for sectoral <strong>Action Plans of the Champion Sectors.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Objective<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This initiative is expected to <strong>enhance the competitiveness of India&#8217;s service<\/strong> sectors thereby <strong>creating more jobs in India<\/strong>, contributing to a <strong>higher GDP and export<\/strong> of services to <strong>global markets.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"background-color:#efefef; width:119.25pt\">\n<h3>Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs)<\/h3>\n<\/td>\n<td style=\"background-color:#cfe2f3; width:348.75pt\">\n<ul>\n<li>It is a company with <strong>no commercial operations<\/strong> and is <strong>formed strictly to raise capital <\/strong>through an <strong>Initial Public Offering<\/strong> (IPO) for the purpose of acquiring an existing company.<\/li>\n<li>These are also known as &#8220;<strong>blank check companies<\/strong>\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Investors in SPACs can<strong> range from well-known private equity funds<\/strong> to the <strong>general public<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Once the <strong>money is raised<\/strong> from the public, it is <strong>kept in an escrow account<\/strong>, which can be accessed while making the acquisition.<\/li>\n<li>If the <strong>acquisition is not made within two years<\/strong> of the IPO, the SPAC is <strong>delisted and the money is returned<\/strong> to the investors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"background-color:#cfe2f3;
