Mulberry, Eri, Tassar, and Muga<\/strong>.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>India has around <strong>11 Geographical Indications<\/strong> such as <strong>Pochampally Ikat<\/strong>, <strong>Chanderpaul Silk<\/strong>, <strong>Mysore Silk<\/strong>, <strong>Kanchipuram Silk<\/strong>, <strong>Muga Silk<\/strong>, <strong>Salem Silk<\/strong>, <strong>Arni Silk<\/strong>, <strong>Champa Silk<\/strong>, <strong>Bhagalpur Silk<\/strong>, <strong>Banaras Brocade and Sarees,<\/strong> etc.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cfstatic.nextias.com\/cdn-cgi\/image\/format=auto\/file_library\/mix_content\/217369668156143400_image.png\" style=\"height:111px; width:353.25pt\">\n<p><em><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cfstatic.nextias.com\/cdn-cgi\/image\/format=auto\/file_library\/mix_content\/368477414203024960_image.png\" style=\"height:208px; width:457px\" \/><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>NEWS<\/strong><em>: The first Aadi Mahotsav post the pandemic is taking place between January 20-January 30, 2021 at GPRA Complex, New Moti Bagh, New Delhi<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Organised by <strong>TRIFED <\/strong>in association with<strong> the Ministry of Tribal Affairs<\/strong> <\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Purpose<\/em><\/strong><em>: To showcase <strong>tribal art and culture<\/strong> by having their <strong>crafts and natural produce and cuisine<\/strong> on display. <\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>In 2019-20, TRIFED has organized <strong>16 Aadi Mahotsav<\/strong> all across the country (Please note: It\u2019s <strong>not an Annual Event.<\/strong>)<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Tribes constitute over <strong>8% of our population<\/strong> however, they are among the disadvantaged sections of the society. <\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>The fair works towards delivering the message that instead of need to modernise them, <strong>a lot can be learnt from tribals by Urban India<\/strong>.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Their crafts have a timeless appeal and are characterised by <strong>natural simplicity<\/strong>.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>The wide range of handicrafts which include hand-woven cotton, silk fabrics, wool, metal craft, terracotta, bead-work, all need to be preserved and promoted<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"vertical-align:top;
