{"id":14018,"date":"2021-02-03T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-02-03T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nextias.com\/current_affairs\/uncategorized\/03-02-2021\/aero-india-2021\/"},"modified":"2021-02-03T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2021-02-03T00:00:00","slug":"aero-india-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nextias.com\/ca\/current-affairs\/03-02-2021\/aero-india-2021","title":{"rendered":"Aero India 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>In News &#8211;<\/strong>Aero India 2021 event was inaugurated by the Union<strong> Minister of Defence.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The five-day event has been reduced to three days, leaving out the two public days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About\u00a0 Aero India-2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It is the <strong>13th edition of Aero India<\/strong> being organised at <strong>Bengaluru <\/strong>from 03 &#8211; 05 February 2021.<\/li>\n<li>The international event is known as the<strong> world\u2019s first-ever hybrid aero<\/strong> and <strong>defence <\/strong>show which will see several aircraft of the<strong> Indian Air Force (IAF), Army, Navy, Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL),<\/strong> and the <strong>Coast Guard<\/strong> .<\/li>\n<li>The highlight of the event would be the <strong>Chiefs of Air Staff Conclave and IOR Defence Minister\u2019s conclave<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>This year\u2019s event will mainly focus on <strong>India\u2019s defence research and technology<\/strong> capabilities with public sector undertakings participating in <strong>full strength<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Significance <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It will help in <strong>bringing enormous global engagement<\/strong> with the <strong>Indian defence industry,<\/strong> in the form of <strong>partnerships and investments<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Aero India <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Aero India is a<strong> biennial international military and civil airshow.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It provides a unique opportunity for the<strong> exchange of information, ideas<\/strong> and new developments in the <strong>aviation industry<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>In 2019, it was organised by Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd.
