{"id":13904,"date":"2021-02-18T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-02-18T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nextias.com\/current_affairs\/uncategorized\/18-02-2021\/online-enrolment-module-for-technograhis\/"},"modified":"2021-02-18T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2021-02-18T00:00:00","slug":"online-enrolment-module-for-technograhis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nextias.com\/ca\/current-affairs\/18-02-2021\/online-enrolment-module-for-technograhis","title":{"rendered":"Online enrolment module for TECHNOGRAHIS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>In News- <\/strong>Recently, the Ministry of Housing &#038; Urban Affairs has launched the<strong> Enrolment Module for TECHNOGRAHIS.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>About<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>TECHNOGRAHIS<\/strong> are students from IITs, NITs, engineering, planning and architecture colleges, faculty members, academicians, and stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>MoHUA is promoting six <strong>Light House Projects (LHPs) as Live Laboratories<\/strong> for transfer of technology to the field.\n<ul>\n<li>The primary <strong>goal is to encourage large scale participation of people<\/strong> to create technical awareness for on-site learning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The foundation stone of LHPs was laid at Indore (Madhya Pradesh), Rajkot (Gujarat), Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Ranchi (Jharkhand), Agartala (Tripura) and Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh).<\/li>\n<li>The LHPs are being built as part of the G<strong>lobal Housing Technology Challenge-India (GHTC- India) initiative <\/strong>under the <strong>Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U).<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Significance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The interested candidates can register themselves to visit the Live Laboratories at six LHP sites for learning, consultation, generation of ideas and solutions, experimentation, innovation, and technical awareness.<\/li>\n<li>It will help students in getting a first-hand account of the technologies being used and in turn, they can adapt and adopt them as per their requirements in the construction sector for a <strong>\u2018Make in India\u2019 approach\u201d.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The promotion of LHP sites is aimed to encourage large scale participation of people to <strong>create technical awareness<\/strong> for on-site learning.<\/li>\n<li>The technology revolution is cost-effective, environment-friendly, disaster-resilient and promotes speedier construction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pib.gov.in\/PressReleaseIframePage.aspx?PRID=1698410\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source: PIB<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In News- Recently, the Ministry of Housing &#038; Urban Affairs has launched the Enrolment Module for TECHNOGRAHIS.
