style=\"color:#000000\"> brought out by NSO on the basis of Periodic Labour Force Survey conducted during July 2019-June 2020.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type:disc\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"font-family:'Book Antiqua',serif\"><span style=\"color:#000000\"><strong>Conceptual Framework of Key Employment and Unemployment Indicators:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"font-family:'Book Antiqua',serif\"><span style=\"color:#000000\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type:disc\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"font-family:'Book Antiqua',serif\"><span style=\"color:#000000\">PLFS gives estimates of key employment and unemployment Indicators like\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type:circle\"><span style=\"font-family:'Book Antiqua',serif\"><span style=\"color:#000000\">Activity status of a person is determined on the basis of the activities pursued by the person during the specified reference style=\"font-family:'Book Antiqua',serif\"><span style=\"color:#000000\">This comes after decades of a progressive fall that signalled movement to high productivity jobs style=\"color:#000000\"><strong><u>Conclusion and Way Out<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type:disc\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"font-family:'Book Antiqua',serif\"><span style=\"color:#000000\">Lot of people lost jobs during the pandemic and agriculture became the employment of last resort.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type:disc\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"font-family:'Book Antiqua',serif\"><span style=\"color:#000000\">The PLFS estimates are <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"font-family:'Book Antiqua',serif\"><span style=\"color:#000000\"><strong>instead an early warning of a structural
