Patel<\/strong> became the <strong>first Indian and the first elected Speaker<\/strong> <strong>of the Central Legislative Assembly.<\/strong>\u00a0<br>&#8211; <strong>G.V. Mavalankar<\/strong> and <strong>Ananthasayanam Ayyangar <\/strong>had the distinction of being the <strong>first Speaker<\/strong> and the <strong>first Deputy Speaker<\/strong> (respectively) <strong>of the Lok Sabha.<\/strong><br>a. <strong>G.V.
